Avenues and Prospects
Chemistry is an essential component of fundamental sciences and hence career in Chemistry opens up the prospects in wide range of further studies. In addition to traditional master degree in the subject and pursue a research career, a graduate degree with chemistry honours will enable the students to opt for career in allied application based subjects like food technology, pharmaceutical chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry and biotechnology, polymer sciences, catalysis, leather technology, ceramic technology, petro-based technologies, forensic sciences and lots of others.
